Challenges

Hi again blog-mates,

As a matter of fact I'm trying to start with some new stuff, for example I would like to start some sort of challenges that you guys propose (of course, everything around the writing frame) that I could present to you weekly.

What do you think I should do for the first challenge?

Let's see how hard you make it.

Media Expansion

Dear bloggers,

Just so you know, I'm expanding my self through the cloud, like a plague that multiplies slowly but surely, to all the social media as well through my web page. I invite you all to go into Twitter and Facebook and look for RRBUGATTO. I would also like to invite those who are fans of literature and poetry to visit the web page www.redroom.com and enjoy the words of lots of good writers.

Through the rough

It seems like life is challenging me through my writing career once again. It's been more than a month already since my Author Web Page was open, and still, no much to say about it.

Perhaps it's meant to be like that. All the greats have had to go through the rough. I can't be better than what they were without going through what they went.

Sonnets to Poetry

Here I come again.

I have already sent the poem to the Montreal Prize, the title is Sonnets to Poetry, so be aware because that is going to be the winning title.

With freedom does the modern poet write,
No counts, no rhymes. And how, if I may ask,
Could well you to bring us light, and thus delight
With words – of known the most sublime of arts –
That we may well as well delight in thine?

There it goes an advance of the poem.

Thanks for listening. I'm ready to listen.

Montreal International Poetry Prize

Hey folks,

Just so you know, I'm preparing myself to participate in the Montreal International Poetry Prize. It's a very big thing, so as soon as I get the poem finished, I'll ask your opinion on how in ended up. The decision won't be made until December of this year, though by October we'll have some information on how my poem is progressing.

I invite you all to visit the web page for authors Red Room, of which I am a member now. I hope you'll enjoy it.
Concerning the book, it's still in the editing process, so I believe it could be done all by the end of the summer. We'll pray for that.

I believe that's all for right now.

PS. It seems quite easier to write in the silence of Wales. What a marvellous place this is. Some place to visit.

Then talk to you soon.

One step ahead

Finally we advance a little further. After signing a contract with SBPRA, they have built a web page to pre-sale the book. Wonderful!

I hope we accomplish the goals on time and that you all like the book.

Onto The Long Road

Onto the long road I drove,
all these long days.
Far beyond the sky above,
I sent words to pray.

If I had not seen myself,
as I faded away,
look how the lilies dressed,
throwing our hopes away.

I found out with great pleassure,
that what I intended,
was far beyond any messure,
yet before all ended.

And again my mind was caught,
in the lilies' beauty,
reminder to what I once thought,
a father's duty.

Not to pay what I could not,
but everything to give.
If lilies are dressed by God,
how greater my gift!

Just a tiny look and kiss,
made all up for me,
as if the essence of my bliss,
is its taste to me.

Without words many times said,
words from our dear son,
to show his love has been led,
by our very ear's song.
This song of love, song of pray.
An eternal round,
in which love we are bound.

This is dedicated to my wife, who, together, have gone with me through the dark steps of uncertainty concerning our son's deafness. May I add, that he is going to be operated really soon, and that it really brins us bakc, the hopes that seemed lost.

Coming soon

Hi there again,

As I said, I wouldn't make it daily, but this is a big one though. Since the purpose of this blog was to make the book known to everybody, I have to keep you updated.

Yesterday, I officially finished reviewing the manuscript for my first english book, The Ship. So, I hope that I can soon write here an invitation to the publishing and the presentation of the, already published, book; I don't know, maybe, in New York, Los Angeles. We'll hope for that.

Today's present

Here I'm back again, but don't get too used to have me daily, because I might not be able to make it.

Today I just want to leave you a few inspirational words. They come from two movies I've watched several times. The first, and for very obvious reasons, as to apply for myself (maybe as a warning), comes from the movie the Lord of the Ring, right when Frodo and his inseparable partner, Sam, at the edge of what he said was his farthest journey, remembers the words of his uncle Bilbo:

"It's a dangerous business, Frodo. Going out your door, you step onto the road, and if you don't keep your feet, there is not knowing where you might be swept off."

As for myself, I'll say that what I'm starting today, -it could be writing, starting a blog- will redound in something I'm not able to see right now.

The second is from the movie Kung Fu Panda. Among the many fun lines we hear, I've taken out this one, that has inspired me many times. When the old turtle, Master Oogway talks to Panda while he was upset for his failure:

"Yesterday, is history; tomorrow, is a mistery; but today, is a gift. That is why it's called present."

There I leave it for you to wonder.

From the beginning

I have to begin by saying that I'm new in the blogosphere, so please, be soft with me as I grow into it. The whole motive of starting this blog is to make known my, yet scarce, literature work, or at least that's what I've been told, but I believe that the real intent is to connect with you faithful blog-readers, so you can get to know me, and I get to know you. Let's see if I'm any good at this.

The best way to start is with a correct presentation.

I won't tell you my name for obvious reasons, but I can tell you I'm a 25 years-old writer, living in the south of Spain, married to a wonderful woman with whom I share two beautiful children and a deep love. She could be considered my inspirational muse, and much of what I now am, I ought it to her.

One thing that I truly believe is that, in nowadays, we all need to be heard by someone, because, as you all will agree with me, there is a lot of noise around, so please, as I post, I will like to hear what you have to say.
